About Me

Hi! My name is Gail Schneiderman. I graduated with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I was a James Scholar and Chancellor Scholar. I love creating art, reading, going on walks, watching the TV show Survivor, and playing with my dog, Lottie.

Post college, I held a design position at a data consulting firm where I grew as a designer and a person. I experienced how design fits into the larger marketing department and the company as a whole. Collaborating with other designers, content writers, social media managers, and operations managers, I discovered how my role and skills are a piece of the puzzle that shapes the identity of the company.

I also held a role as a post grad design intern at a design and PR agency. Here, I juggled multiple projects at once from multiple clients and brands; My strong task management skills allowed me to successfully meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

I have a wide range of design projects and abilities in my repertoire: (click to learn more)

I also have experience with print and digital ads; HTML emails and flyers; slide decks; business cards; email signatures; icons; logos; one-pagers; meta images; and reports.

I love studying how we interpret visual communications and then using this theory to create art.  Supporting brands to discover their authentic voice aligns with my belief that graphic designers are visual storytellers.
I want to tell your story!
